1. About StockOne and acceptance of these Terms

StockOne (www.stockone.io, the “Service”) is operated by StockOne.io (“we”, “us”, “our”). It is a personal, non-commercial educational project. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You sign in to the Service with your Google account.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
• You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for the activity that happens under it.
• Access to the Service is currently limited and may be restricted at any time.

3. The Service

StockOne is an educational simulation of stock investing that uses virtual money. No real money is involved, no real orders are placed on any market, and StockOne is not a broker. Virtual balances, holdings and returns have no monetary value and cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for money or anything else.

Market data and related information in the Service come from third-party sources, such as Yahoo Finance, Finnhub and SEC EDGAR. This data may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate. AI-generated content may contain errors. Do not rely on either without verifying it independently.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
• scrape the Service or access it through automated or bulk means;
• attempt to breach the Service's security or access other users' accounts or data;
• overload the Service or interfere with its operation;
• reverse engineer the Service, except where the law expressly permits it;
• redistribute market data obtained through the Service.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design and code, belongs to StockOne.io. Third-party data shown in the Service belongs to its respective providers.

8. Availability and changes to the Service

The Service is provided free of charge. We may change, suspend or discontinue all or part of it at any time, and we do not guarantee any level of availability or uptime. Virtual portfolios and other data in the Service may be reset.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and request deletion of your account by contacting us at contact@stockone.io. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StockOne.io is not liable for any losses or damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including any investment losses resulting from reliance on the Service or its content.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, or affects your mandatory rights as a consumer.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of Poland. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. By continuing to use the Service after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
